Even though this is May, 2015 (my latest 'sweeps month'), and I'm already too late for April (which celebrates both "National Poetry Month" and Earth Day), I just wanted to post one of my newest "EFF Limerick" comic gags (for the latter two occasions).
In this case, I'd decided to post a strip with one of the latest members of "Fur Affinity",
Frits the rabbit - who has already been drawn in fattened form (in his "FA" site) by several other anthroartists. My own rendering of the rotund rabbit depicts him waddling to the nearby recycling plant, accompanied by my bobcat 'fursona'. Each of us are carrying a plastic bin: mine contains soda cans, while 'Frits' has rags in his bin.
We are both believers in the Three Rs of ecology: "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle". 'Rob Cat' is going to have his cans recycled, while 'Frits' plans to have said rags reused as other things (such as potholders, bookmarks, etc.). Of course, how the rabbit got these rags is part of the story behind my "EFF Limerick"...
With the exception of the scarf around his neck, no other garments can fit his turgid torso, without suffering irreversible consequences. He explains this to the bobcat, as they head towards the recycling plant...
