"Artists are amazing people. They can focus their energy into the tip of a pencil or pen or brush and create works of art that flow from their mind. Their eyes are fixed on a 2D surface or paper or board and with a few motions of their fingers and wrists, they can create anything they think of. It is like magic, raw talent.
"I was at the dealer's room at the convention and there were rows and rows of tables, each with one or two artists to them. Each artist was focused on their drawings and creations while others viewed their works and on-sale material. I watched the artist more than their art. It was like a martial arts class; each artist stilling still and meditating through their hands and minds. There was like an invisible window between them and us as they drew. "Look but dont touch" kind of feeling. Some artists were multi-tasking, talking to others as they continue to draw. Some didn't even need to look at their paper as they spoke to another. Artists are magicians and we get a close look at the magic and skills that flow from their body to their work."
I did this before and after I visited the Dealer's Ally and Dungeon at the convention. I met many well-known artists there and watched them draw and create works of art. Envy came over me here and there, but I was also learning as well from various artists, even those who are beginners themselves. Every artist is different and can perform different magic tricks. But that should not stop you from using those tricks with our own to create something unique.

I wanna say what you just said is Pure Art, I Love how people look at something's and say " that will never be beautiful." an artist takes it and makes in to the most amazing eye wateriness beautiful thing in the world, that inspire you to go on. like my mother.
My mother and father when they where young lived in Arizona. My mom was a "dancer" for a club. And one of the client's had asked the owner if he could pay both him and two of the girl's for there dancing services at a party. My father whom was also my mother's bouncer and life long lover, and Gorge the other bouncer accompanied My mother, and Star the other dancer to the party. The party went on and the crowd was now Just good friend's of the house owners, and my mother was talking to this guy and she said she was an artist, and he said Oh? and she "said yes I am, I have designed and hand made each of these costumes you see." Oh well then he hand's her 13 white candles, and a lighter. and said " make me some art.
She in the course of 3 hour's meted and made a 12 roses with thorn's and stem's. 5 fully bloomed 4 half bloomed and 3 bud's they laid on the table and he hand's her $500.00 and Refused the money. She still has one of the fully bloomed roses in her keep safe box. It's all stained with nicotine and dirt speck's, and the stems all busted. but It the Most amazing thing in the world I've had ever seen.
To this day, That rose is What keep's going some times with my art. My mother Has nearly given up her gift, but the few little sketches she's done, along with her wood work. Is nothing like what she wanted to do. My father got hurt and Now she's Always working, the Only happiness she really get's from art any more is drawing with me, Hoping some day I'll Be what she always wanted to be know for. Art. I love my art And i don't do it Just for her, But it's an incentive to keep My Gift alive.

Great pic, and I really love the text that you wrote to go with it. I'm also fascinated with the artistic process, but I have a hard time standing there and watching an artist work. I always feel like I'm bothering them-- not because they've said or done anything to make me think that, just because I worry too much.
