New Lotion Bar Recipe AND first experiment with color powder
Since I wasn't too keen on using soy wax in my lotion bars, I decided to tweak the recipe and started using shea butter instead of soy wax and to my delight, that was the missing link to having hard lotion bars that don't require wax! :3 They feel SO nice now!
I also started experimenting with powdered colorant used in soaps, and while it's not as easy to use as mica (hence the speckled look), it still at least emulsifies with the lotion bar oils and butters, unlike food coloring. I'll keep doing my homework on it and see what I can do! :3
The scent is going to be a surprise, I'm waiting on a certain mold to unveil what it is! :3
