Star, I saw that, and of course, I knew what it was. I'm thankful for every soldier and Marine, from all of the countries that have served there, for their service and sacrifices.
I find it funny that Star has also been there, and now is sitting in a high chair, with a nappy on, eating baby food, and has to use that as 'encouragement' to continue.
As to Mandy using a little deception to get Star to open her mouth, I love it. That's just about what Mommy would do for a baby like that, too. :D

Star, what upsets me even more, and I don't really want to get political in your comic strip, is the feckless leader that was elected here, twice, and who doesn't have a clue as to what he's doing. Both in Iraq and Afghanistan, he's set all the progress all the coalition countries have made almost back to zero.
I truly wish I could apologize to all the countries, all the men and women who have served, and to the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, for his stupidity.

My old cat did the same thing Star did in the first panel when you try to give her her medicine. her health wasn't very good and ended up dying because of it, but at least we managed to prolong her life for 5 more years and spent a ton of money on medical bills in the process. This is not my black cat that I'm talking about, but another cat I had.

Oh, so she DID serve overseas! Awesome service record! I assume she went to Camp Bastion because that's where the British military was stationed.
My character, however, was probably stationed at Camp Leatherneck, which is only an hour and a half drive between the two. Small world LOL

N-Nya Nya, I don't wanna sound mean or rude or anyfing (and Pwease don't take it that way!) but I'm just afraid everything was a wittle rushed. N-Not the comic itself! It's amazing! But like... Chu go online for a couple hours and chu had to quickly get off because of the crazy stuff, and this ish only woo second time doing dis! Suddenly chu can't pick woo own cwoths have ta be in a high-chair, talked down to and fed baby food. L-Like I said before I don't wanna sound mean. But I just think it might be a little too much to handle and too fast. When I started I had to go really slow and when my girlfriend tried to speed anything up that made me too uncomfortable I started crying cause I was so embarrassed! >.<
