It's not exactly a feeling like that. I know the art is good and I'm still proud of it and enjoy it, but it's not the same as my digital art since I pretty much never do traditional, so there's a lot more frustration that comes along with it, and doubts, which will take time to go away. Thank you though!
Personally, I'm beyond in love with your art, so I'm suuuuuuuper excited to have a traditional piece of artwork from you that I'll be able to carry around proudly!
Plus I think you execute both mediums (traditional and digital) very well (which is a total understatement, because your art is the bomb), and I'm sure that you'll become even more satisfied with your traditional art as you continue experimenting with different techniques, etc!~

And I'm so glad you like it! These were super fun to work on.
Oh for sure, if I got more used to it I'd feel a lot less frustrated. I wouldn't offer commissions for them if I didn't feel they were up to par for my traditional skill. I'm personally not hugely fond of drawing traditionally in the first place (not that I don't enjoy it! I just always want to go back to digital :P), but it's a skill I want to get, especially if I do possibly go sell at a con, since I wouldn't do digital commissions there. That and it'd be nice to draw when at a friend's house.

Very true, and I definitely agree! Digital is amazing for the convenience of being able to correct any mistakes (thank goodness for the undo button!), plus you have access to so many different colours and shades which traditional pencils and markers usually don't have.
But for selling at cons (like you said), traditional art is way more portable than lugging around a computer/tablet, which I've seen people do, but it's a pain in the butt to set up.

For sure, that's a big part of it. But it's more that I just draw differently on paper (though not being able to flip things as I draw doesn't help). So the style isn't too different but I can definitely see it.
Ya, I've thought about it but my laptop is huge and heavy and my cintiq takes a lot of space with it's cables. So bringing a big box of markers is way better to me.
