An amazing commission I got from
SpaceMechanicAzul and allowed to repost it. One of the things I didn't like about Spyro 2 was the addition of the mini games. Some I liked, such as the Electric stone thing from the rainy level. Others, I completely despised, such as the one where the Arab guy in his undies throws bombs at you while you chase him. Azul demonstrates how ridiculous it is with Spyro in the holo deck. I wish I had one of those holo decks, because Azul isn't actually wearing a loin cloth, it's a hologram projected over a MAG. MIND FREAK!

I'd love if there were such thing as a Holo Deck. That was truly one of the coolest aspects of Star Trek: The Next Generation. To be able to create a virtual world to explore as you'd see fit would be most delightful.
I never got to play the Spyro games. But they looked like a lot of fun. I don't know if they even make them anymore. This would be unfortunate as it was a fun franchise.
Crash Bandicoot and Spyro were Sony's very rare, kid friendly games. Though I think they are now aiming a lot harder towards the Teen and Adult audience. Honestly, it would seem only Nintendo is thinking about keeping its Family Friendly franchises going.
