It's pretty rare that I see Roman themed concept art, this one is done especially well and I knew when I saw it that I needed to put it on my favorites list. I've always liked Roman themed projects as its one of my favorite points in history, one that I wish I saw more often really.
Spectacular work on the linage, detail, and pencil shading; this character has very sharp lines and the image overall has excellent depth.
I think you nailed the Legionary look perfectly, and seeing this makes me want to commission some of my own Roman type work later on.
I know that technically this is art by another person, but I'm glad you commissioned it as otherwise I would not get to see such interesting anthro concept art with a roman theme.
Anyway, I originally came to your page to thank you for your favorites and watch, I suppose that while I was here it would be good to look through your gallery and see the page that supported my own. Thanks for your support by the way, I eagerly appreciate it.
Good luck with your gallery and artwork!

Thanks for the elaborate comment. I got a very increased interest into the Roman and the Byzantine Empire. This can be seen in few pieces I've ordered lately.

The Romans were grand and their influence can still be seen today.
But like any empires, they were doomed to fall at some point, sadly.
Kudos to
pelzigenguillotine for this picture, he always surprises me (in a good way) when I get the final picture of my orders.
And I hope you did find more interesting art in my gallery :)

Of course no problem, good art deserves good comments in return.
Indeed, no empire lasts forever; but you'd be hard pressed to find one that had as much of an impact as the Romans.
I might have to take a look at his gallery sometime, see if I can get anything interesting.
I definitely like the first link, I'll probably add that to my favorites list too; the other ones are also well done, but I think I like this one and the one in the first link the best.
Good luck with your gallery, glad we ran into each other.
