Growl growl growl klunk! I see a big Diesel engine. Does it help provide tractive power, or is it just Payload? By the way... This image shows your careful construction of the "Communicators" atop most the Trolley Cars and Diesel-Electric locomotives. If you could rig up power wires, could your trains run like "The Real Thing?"
How cool! When I visited the Model Railroad Museum in Alameda, they had a small representation of the Sacramento Northern railway, complete with overhead power lines that looked like they'd work. Really tiny and meticulous work, right down to the scale insulators and splices. I'm really sorry I lost my photos I took of the layouts that day because of my "Bugging out" of Oakland. Still, if I get the chance to go back, I'll make sure I get more images of those curious and remarkable, small locomotives. They were so Ugly, they were cute.
