Just some player character types painted up mostly to try and figure out skin tones a little better. Elf druid, dwarf wizard, halfling fighter (or paladin). Please, if you’ve got opinions, don’t be shy - I’m really trying to crank on this stuff!

Looks good, coloring is solid ^^
I'll give some feedback, which is of course just along my personal perception of rendering digitally. What you have looks great and I feel is a natural extension of your inked art.
With that said, I could perhaps suggest going for some more sharp highlights, especially on the rightmost character wearing the armor. Having at least a little bit of the entire grayscale (some near-whites, some near-darks) should give the image a bit more depth. The characters does seem to land in a sort of evenly flat gray area in terms of grayscale (If you're using Photoshop, I recommend this tutorial on checking your grayscale http://www.artofscholes.com/checkingvalues/) .
Secondly - and this is really up to preference - coloring the black line art itself so it blends with the surrounding color could lend itself to a more rendered look. It might look better, or it might feel weird, but I think it could be worth a shot.
And lastly - again up to preference - removing the line art almost entirely on the lit side of the characters and just keeping the line art in the shadows is another way of doing this particular style of rendering.

At first glance, I like it.
Elf seems typical, they are nature types.
Dwarf in sandals? That's new on me. He's weird in a good way though.
Halfling is weird in a not-so-good way, heavy metal armor makes bare feet seem like a gross omission.
Really crit on this: is it just me, or is there an anatomy error on the Elf's bent knee?
