I so want to play Splatoon! It looks like a combination of Team Fortress 2 and something involving a ton of paint. It seems like it's not about K/D, it's about territory coverage and entirely different strategies than the over-done copy-paste shooters. Swimming and jumping through the ink you put down can help get a specific advantage over the other team, and this is entirely different than Capture the Flag style. It'll be interesting to see the competitive tournaments that will spawn from this game. I guess this is what my hype hopes for.
I fear that many people will try to copy this format, like many did with- Minecraft. See? A 360 no scope back to the image!
I'd totally see Ghast girl playing Splatoon religiously. For the paint of course! She needs a partner... Maybe a Blooper girl, from the Super Mario games? She's looking great, though!
