For those who may be interested in my illustration technique, this image demonstrates a pre-lineart version of the finished pic I drew for scamps... as you can see there are substantial differences between the the pose and anatomy of the final pic... I decided the post would look more natural if she weren't leaning back, I made the muzzle shorter and the mouth closed rather than ajar, and finally I decided that her backside looked too wide compared to the rest of her and moved the legs closer to each other, which incidentally helped make them more symmetrical.
