Didn't get a chance to post my Friday countdown sketch since I was busy the last couple of days, so I am putting it up today. One of the things I am doing as I move toward being a full-time illustrator and concept designer is rearranging my studio space and getting it into fighting trim. Fortunately AJ let me borrow a cart to haul away the junk.
Ever since BackBreaker Studios closed my work area has been allowed to go fallow. Now this space is where I may be spending 10+ hours a day at least five days a week. Therefore it is critical that my work area not impede my ability to work! That meant clearing a lot of junk mail, unneeded pieces of scrap paper, old spent art supplies and a general reevaluation of my work area. At the end of the day I tired, very dusty, but feeling like I had accomplished something.

See, that's one of the things I really like about your (pony) art. You've put a lot of thought into how things could be designed for and by ponies. As an engineer and a geek, that is something I really love to see.
Hm...a suggestion for the next pony concept art if I may? Schematics of the harness - and how to get in and out of it using only hooves and mouth. In the series, they just plop their head through a hole, and off they go...but I'd say it would take a whole lot more than that.
I also look forward to seeing this picture in more detail. How about the pegasus skywagons/chariots? Maybe they would have small sailplane wings with mouth-operated controls for the driver/flyer pegasus? Maybe something more for the ones made for two or more pegasi?

Hmmm, I'll see if I can get some sketches of Carousel putting her cart harness on sometime in the future. Of course I already have a future posting done of of Carousel and AJ wearing a tandem rig.

Well you'll get see more of those when we go the Cloudsdale for the Best Young Fliers Competition.

well as long as you create. Something I heard once was. When you have the soul of an artist, if you do not create, some how, some way. You'll die. Your soul will die. Would love to see some of your creations. Maybe you could partner with a unicorn, to.... "freeze these clouds" for long term display.
