Oddly enough, I kinda have Ringabel using a sword that looks like this, and he's probably one of the best characters combined with his Dark Knight class... even if he gets KO'd he has an ability (literally 'See You In Hell') that does high damage to every enemy.
Pretty much, if Tiz can't do anything with his black magic Ringabel can just handle it.
