So random fan fic that's been bouncing around in my head since I saw The Phantom of the Opera, movie, in high school. I finally decided to actually write some of it down, and also what species the Phantom should be: Tanuki, also known as the Japanese Raccoon Dog (more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_raccoon_dog ).

As I said, fan fiction, Yves and her mother are my characters, but none of the others mentioned in this piece are mine. All credit for their creation, the story outlined by the Phantom, and the music to the composer of the opera.
