...Benjamin finally meets up with his dear friend and penpal Cornelius. The two had met one another during an exchange program when Cornelius visited the States and had been in contact since. Upon arriving at Celesteville via train, the adult bruin was excited to see that the aged pachyderm was waiting for him to arrive. Ben greeted him with a large hug and they had been growing friends ever since.
A year later, Ben had been working alongside Cornelius as his aide after the Prime Minister of Celesteville had put in a request to King Babar before one evening, Benjamin decided to admit something that Cornelius had suspected of his younger friend for some time. Not that Cornelius seemed to mind at all, obviously.
