June is always sitting on these deck posts like that.

EDIT: she has 4 legs guys, she sits on the higher post with her legs tucked in and stand with her front... which apparently is a comfortable thing to do (?)

Such an awesome pose! Looks a bit weirder if you can convince the cat to do it in reverse with short front paws and standing back ones. My dog does this going down stairs or stopping on them.

Our cats do this, too! They put their butt on an empty bottom shelf of a bookcase and put their front paws on the floor. They do this with other things as well. I guess this is how cats would sit in a chair if tiny chairs were created for them. lol
