Everything in that bowl is edible! Even the flowers (though you might want to go cautiously if you try to eat all that wasabi).
When this came out, wuff couldn't believe it was his dish! It looked like a flower arrangement, not sushi! What an AMAZING presentation!

Shouldn't have to worry about wasabi when its authentic and in small amounts.
I learned this from a Japanese sushi chef when I was trepid to eat wasabi when
he put it on my sushi.
When you have the good stuff you get a mild burn, more of a kick for a few seconds
then it softens into this sweet after taste thats nice and smooth and subtle.
Stuff we usually get here in America is dyed horse radish that equals death. Next time
You're at a sushi place ask where they get their wasabi. I used to hate the stuff til I had
some good authentic wasabi.
