I'm not fully sold on that name or rather, title, and I would like to prove that I am still alive here. This is my newest original character made for the Redwall setting. Short prose incoming:

He was a carpenter. An artist. Then they came, and they took everything from him. His wife, his child, his whole life gone in an instant. Oakshield was not a warrior, but a destiny cannot be ignored, and revenge is something a Badger would not let even death take from him. So armed with tools of war, wrought by his own skillfull paws, he would mete out justice, and defend those from suffering the same lonely fate as he.

A tragic hero, nothing new to Redwall, but I don't think his story will end so unhappily. We shall see though! Those marks on the shield BTW, are height markers for his daughter (it was the door to his home) and the stone in his club is the hearth stone. It is not sharp. Just heavy. I will write more on him sometime soon, I promise!
