I want to mention line work. I find lining a really slow process, especially digitally. It's very difficult not to lose some essence of what the sketch is as well. There are some tricks to it - For example, you want to use a heavier line towards the bottom of your picture as it adds a sense of weight and grounding. And these guys have a lot of weight to sense.
Wave's lines are actually slightly thicker than Jet's, since she's fatter. it's an insignificant detail I doubt anyone would notice.

Ah, the different line weights are a detail that would probably have to be called into attention. I usually just use the same line weight for most things! I am not confident in them, though bringing it up you seem quite competent with them.
But you brought up detail and now I keep noticing this pixel of white above Wave's top xx

Hmm...
A lot of what I draw is sort of focused on how the pose works. In this, for instance, Jet is in motion (...of sorts,) and his body type needs to permit the pose I thumbnailed him in... a lot about how I draw fat is influanced by that need for poseability. Perhaps that's why you can envision him moving around.
Of course, there are other things you may be finding appeal in. His butt is fairly realistic, and the fat distribution is based on what I know of how fat actually looks albeit stylized and whatnot. (Though, I don't believe I used reference for this particular picture.) Jet also utilizes a lot of more complex shapes in an attempt to show depth and make the picture feel believable. For example check the thigh - that's a heavily rounded rectangle and not a true circle, because it shows
Anyways, I'm half asleep so hopefully that made sense and wasn t just a non-sequiter
