Uhm, this may sound like a stupid question but I'm not very good with colors...

is the bright green in the shadows the "correct" or "realistic" color to use or was it used just because it fitted with the other cold colors? I think it looks very good anyway =D I'm just curious about how you came to the decision of using that green

Mainly because I wanted to try unusual coloring techniques, and because I thought it looked good

To me, (so IMO), and going with the time of year it is... The green appears to be not shading, but highlights. the eerie luminescence that comes with the feeling of foreboding. It's a very stranded in a place all alone , and just about anything cane jump out and grab you

I can understand why you don't like it, but this is still good in its own given right. the tree in the foreground with the full moon nestled in the background through its branches is a very nice touch; A classic but a goodie. and that same tree looks very ominous and ready to pounce.

This is such a beautiful picture, the scene itself if really nice but the unusual blend of colours gives it a much more magical feeling. Keep up the great work.
