Actually it's ukrainian musical medieval instrument referred to as "lira".

This instrument was distributed in Ukraine during the time of the Ukrainian cossacks (approximately the time of the great Thirty Years War in Europe and later), I live in Ukraine and there are still musicians who play this instrument. What plays on YouTube is just this musical instrument, but I have no information about whether this musical instrument was used in the Moscow kingdom (modern Russia) or not. Oh, and wonderful work depicting slavic warriors against the background of Orthodox churches.
