Okay so I'm in a hella mood to do a "baby" series. I'll be drawing some of my Poke chars as children. It'll be doodling them during their most important memory as a child, whether it be good or bad and writing a bit about it. First up is Burn!

Memory: Meeting her trainer

Burn was born from a backyard breeder, it wasn't necessarily a bad place, but the breeder didn't exactly place great genes above all, leaving her a bit of a runt with her fur colour slightly off. She was purchased by a lower-middle class family for their son's birthday. The breeder promised the Eevee they purchased would make an excellent Flareon one day, which is what they had hoped for since their son had a heavy preference towards fire types. Burn was well behaved and very affectionate as a pup, sealing the deal for her trainer's parents. Their son was born during winter and decided to include a scarf with his favourite colours. They left the scarf and the young Eevee in his room and waited for him to get home from school. When he opened his door Burn was found plopped on top of scarf staring at his new friend happily.

To Burn meeting her trainer was the most important, special thing. She enjoyed playing with her litter mates and the other pups and adults, but she saw older ones going off into new homes with their humans and eagerly waited the day she would get picked up to go to new home. When she locked eyes with this boy, no older than 10, she immediately felt a flame of happiness ignite in her and the two became inseparable from then on.
