making his money as an adventurer and travelling monster slayer, Sek-Raktaa has been to a few different corners of the world, including the mysterious far east. one of the mementos he picked up on his journey is this particular armor. quite common in the east, its a rather unusual sight back home in the west. he doesn't often wear it but when he does, the armors light weight and strong armor has gotten him out of a few close calls...

yeah i wanted to see my character wearing samurai's armor. and because he's not japanese, even though he has a katana to go with the armor, he's holding his trusty longsword.
