A close friend of Spinnerette and Creepy Crawler, Shriek was delighted to hear of a scientist who was helping them with their powers and abilities. Tired of shattering the family crystal, windows and her own glasses every time she'd speak above a whisper or yawn the wrong way, Dr. York's program was perfect for dealing with the young flying mammal's frustrations. Since joining the team that's been nicknamed York's Youngsters, Shriek's enthusiasm with the scientist's ciriculuum and for life in general has carried many a dark day for the senior team of heroes as well as her peers. Though Dr. York isn't one to play favorites, the alligator can't quite hide that she sees great potential and a great future for the young bat.
