Oh wow, you're really good at giving off the feeling motion. Honestly I like this more without the comic book effects! But that's only me, and my unimportant opinion. :P

I've notice, that effects are used for more black and white mangas.
Non-effects are used when color is invloved. Colors will bring it out just as clearly.

Yeah you're right actually, I see that a lot more often in black and white manga and less otherwise. Maybe I prefer it because it's more 'realistic'? Who knows.
