You really think i'm getting better? Thanks :) That really is great to know. I've been working on my anatomy for months on end....if there's one thing that's key to the whole picture it's anatomy. So it's really quite frustrating when i can't get it right!!
And i had fun with the expression. It turned out just how i wanted it to. And i couldn't resist the tongue thing either

Well yeah, everyone gets beter with experience.

One thing you can do if you wanna get real good, is buy a scetch-a-day diary. It's a diary with a blanck page for each day in the year, rather than writing "Dear Diary, today I got laid" or what ever, you draw a lil picture, can be as detailed or as scetchy as you like. either way you get better!!!!
Now, these things can be hard to find, ive seen them in 'The Works' and 'WH Smiths', haveing failed to find one, get a scetch pad with at least 360 pages

Also, if you have problems with anatomy you can always look at real anatomy.
I use to attempt to draw (bad idea) and was hopless, so i would open up photoshop, make a layer called 'guid lines' and dump a picture of the anatomy I'd be drawing.

So id have a picture of me in a certain pose which i then drew over on another layer, that way i didnt draw stoof with one arm the size of a fishing rod and the other the size of a super noodle.

To be honest though I've never seen any problem with your anatomy.

I guess so. I considered using loads of drawing tutorials a while back but i decided not to. I wanted the work to solely be mine, like drawing something and rubbing it out again god knows how many times until it looked right. I can only hope that i get as good as i've always wanted to be.

Oh, what you mean like a pad that if you think of something you can quickly sketch it out? It's a nice suggestion, but i don't see how it's any different to the normal A4 sketchpads i get from WHSmith or The Range.

And with anatomy, like i said earlier i don't really use references, but i do however want to use all my Kerrang magazines for reference. I could get some awesome poses out of them.

I guess when you do draw something and complete it without help or air, there is that feeling of accomplishment.

Well it's not any different really, except it'll have pretty pattens on it and will cost more XD
So ya, just use your sketch pad and do a doodle-a-day.
