I like the atmosphere and coloring in this picture. I feel like the characters are incorporated into the background instead of just having the environment function as a backdrop. Kudos.

Also your character reference links seem to not be working.

If it wasn't for the characters in this pic listed at the bottom I was gonna ask what that fishfox was sitting on the lamp cause crazy prop, but that's a character. XD
This is a very cool commissions. I really love all the details in it.

True, but if the rest of the house has the same height in ceilings, sooner or later unfortunate chemical reactions are going to happen between the fire on the torch and the wood on the ceilings... Then again, for all I know, that could be a continual flame and thus not actually a fire.

I love the composition in this, and I also have an idea.

I like the lighting of this, so perhaps you could do a darker version? One with the drapes closed and just the torch? Or no light source at all?
