Thank you ) I admired him too maybe because its the closest thing to a furry than other villains. And also lab accidents are cool )) And in animated he's drawn pretty 'lizardy' - he has snout and stuff... while in comics he was portrayed like a man with skin condition )) Like Ukraine's former president Yushenko :D (never thought he'd be useful as a pun)
Depends on which comic you're reading! A little after McFarlane started drawing him, there were some excellent more reptillian Lizard renditions. I think my personal favorite in recent times was from a run of Sensational Spider-Man. BUT, yes, anyway, I agree about the overall look from Animated. Great voice, too, honestly.
