The Beautiful Insanity

Looking back is healthy. Knowing that you still sometimes miss the days when you were a young fool, you still miss the people you called friends that you no longer talk to, people that grew up into chainsmokers, drug addicts, retail workers and lonely souls, people that for months you've felt nothing but apathy towards but, at the stirring of a few certain songs, you long for desperately - and the bitter sting isn't knowing that you can't go back to how it used to be, but knowing that deep down in your heart, you wouldn't really want to if you could. Those were my glory days, but they are memories now, and they will have to stay that way - they're better off staying that way.
