A seemingly odd cross between cockroach and dragon, it's pretty evident thst Roger isn't from the neighborhood even in Gammorah Bay. Just how the extra-terrestrial insect dragon came to work as Dr. York's personal chef and caretaker of her laboratory complex isn't a story that either the alligator or Roger has shared with anyone else quite yet. Most of the heroes accept Roger as they would anyone else, outside of supervillains. Only Bookwyrm has ever raised a fuss (i.e. freaked way out) over Roger, though her initial opinion changes completely and she becomes quite infatuated with the chiton-covered alien and not just because she's fond his culinary abilities (though those don't hurt). Roger also lends some technical support to Dr. York as she construts her G.A.T.O.R. units though he claims to be anything but an engineer.
