This is before they're trimmed and laminated.

Because badges are meant to give a clear representation of the character I did do bold outlines using sakura microns with sepia toned ink so that it's not black on the coffee.

The names were done by blotting some of the darkest brew and letting it dry then going over it with water to spell the names. I really wanted it to blend into the steam from the cups, but I think that sort of thing is going to require more practice.
