1) There are certainly non-Nazi white supremacist groups. This gets more common as time goes on because 1) racists are getting slightly smarter and realize that Americans hate nazis, and 2) They realize that Naziism, while it included the concept of white supremacy, also included a lot of things they are uninterested in, like forced labor for white people, too.

2) Racial supremacy of any kind is bad, and while Furry fandom has plenty of black panthers, I've yet to see any Black Panthers. Fetishists are distasteful, at best. The problem is, we've got more'n a few real nazis about, and the fetishists confuse things.

3) Some hate groups are acceptable. You don't think the American Diabetes Association LIKES diabetes. The Southern Poverty Law Center doesn't like poverty. Jonas Salk hated Polio. I hate Nazis. If you have to be intolerant of something, Nazis are a great choice.

I've can't see the appeal of wanting to Dress up in a Nazi uniform, I mean to me, everytime I see a Nazi Uniform I just think oppression, crulity, and genoside. It is interesting to note that some may take offense to various allegories and devices; they each can carry historical connotations that invoke all kinds of negative ideas. The Hammer and Sickle is even seen as a symbol of totalitarian brutality (à la Stalinist Russia), when of course it was originally an allegory for the union of workers and peasants. The Swastika itself was originally used in various Eastern religions, most notable Jainism. Sometimes you need to be aware of someone's intention as well, although I think perhaps these people could go without the Swastika on their uniform; it strongly suggests some kind of affinity with fascism.

Personally I like the uniforms from World War 2, notice how I didn't just say Nazi uniforms. Sure the Nazis had a great sense of fashion but so did the Russians and the British at that time. I am just a fan of the uniforms none the less, I am not a furzi or will ever subject myself to that name. I will admit I was a member of the furzi army on Second Life, but left as soon as the friend who told me it was a way to get nice WW2 uniforms, started a rally about gassing the Jews. I basically took the uniforms and left.

Like some more recent commenters have said, I'm surprised by the upload date of this and the dates on everyone's braindead "criticisms". I have very little respect for anyone who digs Nazi uniforms, very most often of the officers' clothing, which pretty much just says "look at me, I'm a prissy little bitch who barks orders at actual troops while I sit safely in my cushy war room on the rear echelons".

When you take off all the swastikas and shit, you have an outfit that doesn't look or function much differently than those of other nations' armed forces. When someone insists that their uniform fetish drawing HAS to depict one from 1933-1945 Germany, of all the timeframes and countries that they could pick from, you know that it's about the edge and shock factor.

At best, they're trolls who think it's funny to piss people off; at worst, they're actual neo-Nazis who believe in the causes that those soldiers fought for. Either way, spreading disharmony is at their core, they're fucking evil, and the world would be so much closer to peace if it weren't for people like them gleefully depriving us all of that peace.
