This is a scene in which Laura uses her connections within the company to organise a little foot rubbing session with one of the micro employees on her break. Of course that's against company policy, as Nisha is just about to remind Laura and subsequently punish her for. Though Nisha herself is pretty guilty of doing the same thing, not that anyone is going to challenge her about it.

I think we need to file a motion with the board of directors to change this policy, there's scientific evidence that workplace morale improves productivity, management simply needs to supervise these events to assure the insurance company that workplace safety is maintained, perhaps even provide PCM's and demonstrations to assure safety is educated and part of the workplace culture :D
