On all four, the soldier was running fearfully. Behind him, his spazzing squad members. Palpitating uncontrollably with every inch of muscle betraying their thoughts, screaming wasn't even possible. It all happened within seconds when suddenly no one was left standing but him alone. "No time to look around. I'm gonna die. I need to run" were the only possible thoughts at that time. Suddenly, a sharp intense pain pierced the back of his head and soon after his body froze and it felt as if he was being shredded by tons of ants all over. Unable to move, he curled into a ball of pain. "Well well. Does that teach you to never try and go against us Forest Folks? Hope it does for your sakes" a stern voice warned. Lifting his eyelids, he saw an orange figure for a moment before nothing but a trail of what seemed to be lightning left. Melrose was the name given to this Forest Folk. A fleeting archer who used the power of electricity to his will. Striking those who intend to harm his kind, leaving them in pain for a period of time depending on his whims.

A fantasy art commissioned! I've been playing quite some MtG (Magic the Gathering) and I just imagined my sona with magical hoo-haas. I like the game so far. Pretty interesting and it feeds my imagination. So anyways, here! Have a fantasy version of Melrose 'w'
