One of my oldest characters in Everquest 2, Jektarka started as a young, hopeful warrior for the remnants of the Iksar trapped in Freeport. In the end, his life had been filled with betrayal, tragedy, kinship, love, hatred, intrigue, and bloodshed. There hasn't been a banner he hadn't fought under during the conflicts between D'Lere and the Karans, from soldier to lost soul, mercenary to a life-debt owed warrior, he's seen just about every angle of the war. His armor is scuffed around the chest of all the insignias and marks of loyalty from his numberous posts, he now bares the golden sun of The Vagabond Knights upon his chest, as well as the worn down star of Cabilis on the other, a mark of his lost purpose from years of warfare.
Now in a life debt to the rogue band of Qeynos, The Vagabond Knights, owed by being saved from almost being sacrificed to Cazic Thule for a false accusation of herecy, Jektarka serves as a loyal, albiet fatalistic, soldier in their ranks. While the Vagabond Knights were almost always defenders of good, Jektarka always was a character several shades darker from the norm among them.
Perhaps one of my most missed characters in EQ2, I still bring him out of his semiretirement to keep stories going. To be honest there's so much to tell, and only so much room to deliver. The only Iksar I played on the server, he took a life of his own after years of gameplay. May he ever march on to a Warrior's honorable end.
More of my storied characters to come.

I considered that, it's a very liberal alteration of the PVP dreadnaught set. So the helm woulda removed his cold glare. Though still proud of it. 5 straight days of brutal combat just to earn enough tokens for the full set ... Only to wear it as PvE appearance armor after that. Never did the pvp again. I had folks giving me shocked faces for weeks, but my iksar looked so damn good.
