*nods* Yeah, they look more like robots or droids than bugs.

These days they use primitive clones of themselves that look somewhat like them, but have a programmed mind, if they aren't directly controled by a kreel through their hive mind powers. Those clones don't share the powers of a real Kreel. They have such a complex DNA and have tinkered with their own genes so much that they can only naturally reproduce real Kreel. The clone-drones are doing all the handy work, while the few real Kreel that remained concentrate on more important matters.
