I really liked Silver. Even though he was a lot like Blue in the beginning, he actually learned from his defeats and the lectures that countless people must've given him. Hence his Golbat evolved by the time you reach the League. Forever a Douchebutt on the outside; probably a pretty okay guy on the inside.
