This song is really well made. I like the way the melody kind of creeped up on me while I was listening to it.
I don't think I'm familiar with the differences between normal trance and 'dark' trance, though. Is it the way the bass seems heavier (at least, compared to other songs I listen to labeled as trance) or the deeper tone of the melody that defines a song as dark?

About the dark thing, I think everyone's definition of what is 'dark' is different; the way I interpret it is just a certain vibe you get. Mostly from mysterious melodies that have a dark atmosphere to them... I guess. A lot of people feel the term 'dark' is better suited for more evil-sounding stuff, which I suppose works too.
