This is a commission for  kaelin-tiger that  susi and I have been working on for quite a while. Thankfully he's been very patient with both of us. :]

The basic idea of the picture is: Tigers are tigers because they have stripes (d'uh!). Kaelin wanted to express that his friends are the ones that make him the person he is, so basically by the way they interact with him and share their life with him, they leave their individual marks on him, which then turn into his stripes, defining him as the tiger he is.

I really enjoyed working on this picture, simply because of the interesting thought that's behind it.
