First drawing of the year, I decided to start it off by creating something for myself. As I was making this, I was reflecting upon the events that took place in 2014. I realized it was around this time of year where I have experienced such an intense, emotional feeling. I become lost in my creation as I relived all the pain and joy I endured in the short two months of that year. Everything happened so fast, in a way it felt like a dream, it felt unreal. Yet I was able to feel everything I felt during that time, as fresh as if it happened only a few hours ago. I had to stop working on it on a few occasions to let out all my emotion.
I apologize if my ramblings do not make much sense, the emotions are all over the place and it is difficult to properly collect my thoughts appropriately.
This is lined with symbolism, I don't think people will understand it but you are free to try to interpret it.
Done with Copic Markers, colour pencils, and acylic paints on a 16"x20" board.
If you're wondering, the frame is not separate. I also designed it on the board.
