XD I almost feel the same, though it's my own fault. My art work needs much more improvement before trying to get accepted there again! I still like to go read the comics though. :D

I looked through your gallery, I think you've got what it takes to get in, but I'd greatly consider practicing backgrounds. All you really need to get in is show you can draw a background every now and then and other people's characters and you're golden, trust me, I'm a veteran there.

They're pretty good, I'd honestly do more with the backgrounds myself. Rule of thumb when drawing backgrounds, you gotta think about what's kept in areas you plan on drawing. Lots of people think that means more bricks and cracks, but you gotta think about what would be in that area the person is in. Try spicing up those buildings a bit by giving them different looks, maybe show a restaurant or put in a few lamp posts. By adding in small details like that you'll give backgrounds a lot more personality.

But that's what void is all about, just be sure to have some thick skin on ya and be willing to improve and you'll fit in perfectly.

Of COURSE he does. Ahhhhh i love this. the monochrome look is perfect.

Aptly named image. The way you portray "Void City" as an impending, straight and somewhat orderly construct creates a good contrast with the character. Whether or not it was done purposely his lanky, curving body shape allows him to stand out from it all. However what is fascinating is your decision to colour/shade everything in simply red and white; Nex to me will remain a part of Void City whether he likes it or not...
