Like every jinchūriki Crescents childhood was lonley & she was ignored and hated by quite a lot of people in her home village hidden in the Ice, those she tried to befriend rejected her & when she tried to befriend them in frount of their parents the parents would look at her in fear knowing of the demon inside her & they would pick up their kids and rush them into their homes & their children didn't know but knew from the reaction of their parents that Crescent was dangerous in some way and they shouldn't speak to her.
Crescent suffered in her isolation during most of her childhood unsure why and hurt that everyone seemed to treat her with distain she met Naruto one day when they were both kids the village hidden in the leaves were visiting other academys in other village learning the differences in how they were taught, Naruto noticed Crescent out of the way and isolated from her classmates and they became kindred spirits & penfriends.
Then after she turned 12 Crescent discovered the truth of the demon locked away inside her just as her village was attacked by an unknown force reducing most of it to rubble, her grandfather the kourikage of their village got her to saftey & got her to a family friend in another neigbouring friend village where she continued her education & was taught how to control her tailed beast and in time Crescent and the beast Azuriah inside her became firm friends then once she turned 16 she discovered her grandfather had been slain by the same unknown force the decimated her village and she had no idea if her parents were still alive so the family friend and Kage of the village sent her to Konoha the village hidden in the leaves by acceptance by the Hokage Tsunade & got her own team Kouri Ryu,then after her very first mission with her new team she reunited with her old friend Naruto shocked and surprised that he was a jinchūriki too all that time and they had more in common that she initally thought back when they were kids.
She made friends and was accepted by the village and she finally felt happy after such a long time, the village hidden in the leaves felt like a second home.
