OK, this is FossShape300 , which you can find at wonderflexworld.com
Did a few demo applications at FC and other cons. Wanted to show it off here as well.
This is a single layer of the thinner 300 (600 is double thick). Using a heat gun, carefully 'melted' overtop of a face cast. Pinching and pushing the warm material in to capture the eyes etc. The resulting thin fabric shell is flexible, paintable, and best of all, remoldable! Just add heat and keep sticking more of it on. This mask took maybe 10minutes? Super easy n quick stuff.
It is like a mix of fleece, with hot glue inside. Heat and stick to itself. Gets soft and wibbly once warm. Safe, non toxic!
Use this to make hats, masks, beaks, stiffening or reinforcements. It's fun stuff!
Wonderflex, their main product, is very similar. Just imagine it to be like stiff plastic sheet+hotglue, instead of fleece. Same deal, heat, stick. Re-heat, re-stick. It's fantastic fun!
