I've never had that happen to me on my own computer, but I figured if it ever did I'd just go and set up a Linux os on my pc in windows place.

i've had this happen many a time on an EVGA mobo. they make great graphics cards with nvidia but they can't make a mobo too well... i would scrounge up all my technical prowess just to keep it alive, even had one occassion where the way i fixed it was swapping the master raid 1 drive with the slave drive and have it rebuild. i kept the thing running for 2 years before i finally built a new rig.

though now i have a computer that turns on randomly when i'm asleep.
