Any tips? I tend to draw my characters arms a bit too short. Do you draw where you want the hands first or something?

you'll find that when arms are completely relaxed, the hands will come down just past the pelvis region, elbows being at around halfway down the torso. Just remember the belly button is where the elbows are, and just where the leg gap starts is where the hands are. To make someone really lanky, give them very skinny arms (like in this pic) and a super thin frame.
