Well, I've been wanting to draw Harvey and this meme was going around, so HERE WE GO. carnivaldog did most of the inking, I did a little, and I drew/colored. :V At least it's not as hideously gay as some of the other memes going around. I guess.

I think you would like Murder By Death. Download/buy the Who Will Survive, And What Will Be Left of Them? album and listen to it in order; it's a conceptual album, and mixes Western/Punk/Rock and there's some very nice violin bits in there, too. Three Men Hangin' is one of the saddest fucking songs I've ever heard.
Oingo Boingo is an utterly fucking bizarre band that lasted from the 70's to 1995, the frontman was Danny Elfman. Fun songs are Dead Man's Party, Insanity, and Clowns of Death. The band's music also covers just about any genre imaginable, but like I said, it's really weird. I think Insanity is the best song they've ever put out, it's very polished, and sinister as hell.
Boondox is Southern/Horror Rap, and they make a fair amount of ICP references. I despise ICP but love Boondox, though, which is weird. If you like rap at all, horror, hillbilly stuff, and have a high tolerance for vulgarity, they're fun.

My roommate has that album, I think, so I'll bug him for it.
Does it have any resemblance to Danny Elfman's classical music? It sounds interesting, if nothing else, though his speaking voice drives me up the wall.. hopefully his singing voice is different XD
I went through an ICP-liking phase until I just sort of.. woke up one day and realized they were really pretentious and childish XD I do like some rap though, and adore both horror and hillbilly stuff, so I will for sure check them out :)
Do you like Bob Dylan at all? I really like his 'Ain't Talkin'' song, it fits in well with any A Hundred Highways-ish playlist.

The only song that even has any remote resemblance to Elfman's classical stuff is Insanity, simply for the sheer number of instruments used in that song-- and the resemblance is still scant. Most of Boingo's stuff has a fairly eccentric, 80's pop sound.
His voice varies from a growl to a shriek and can be fairly nasal. He did Jack's singing voice in Nightmare Before Christmas and in some songs, he sounds terrifyingly like Jack. His voice can definitely take some getting used to and some people just can't. X> It doesn't bother me since I tend to like lyrics over vocal talent.
And yay, you just might like Boondox. Plus, their songs are catchy and tend to get stuck in your head.
And I actually can't recall ever listening to Bob Dylan, lol. But I will download that suggested song tonight, I really like trying new things. Who knows, maybe I'll become a big Bob Dylan fan, haha.
