Part 3 - Echoes of a fading Dream

The moon shines bright from the sky as Garou is sitting at the campfire and is staring at his compass like he does every night. It's the only thing he was able to take with him before he got chased away from home. He can't even remember for how many days or weeks he is living in the wilderness now. And there is also one other thing. A strange feeling because he is getting used to that new live too easily and much faster than he may should. Sometimes if he tries to remember some simple details from his life he had before it, seems all blurred.....like memories echoing from a fading Dream.
The only thing that gives him assurance of his old life is this compass. A gift he got from his best friend who went to a town far away to work in the factory of his grandfather years ago. Everytime he takes a look at the compass and watches the arrow moving or feels the engraving, he is getting much clearer thoughts about the past. Maybe an anchor for his mind? What might happen when he someday loses this gift? All those things he worries about lateley
