Hello! I'm sharing an easy recipe for those who are in need of a quick lunch or snack. Before anyone says anything, I DID NOT USE ANY OF THE ACCENT SALT YOU SEE IN THE PIC. I had to go through my spice cabinet to dig out my spices. Okay, ready to make this classic Chinese favorite?
Prep Time: 2 min. Cook Time: 5 min.
Ingredients (in US measurements):
1 egg (beaten)
2 cups of Chicken Broth
1/2 Tsp of Soy Sauce
1/2 Tsp of Sesame Oil
4 TSP water (in separate dish)
2 TSP Cornstarch (in separate dish)
1 TSP Chives (optional)
1/8 TSP Sea Salt (optional)
1/8 TSP White Pepper (Black Pepper can work too)
1. In a small saucepan, combine the Chicken Broth, Soy Sauce, and Sesame Oil.
Bring it to a boil.
2. In a separate dish, combine the Cornstarch and Water until well blended.
Add it to the boiling mixture.
3. Start gently stirring while adding the beaten egg. (pour in small increments to prevent clumping)
4. Add remaining spices!
5. EAT IT!!!!!! ^_^
