One of my favorite commissioned concept arts so far, this piece was done by
Draggincat (link below) who did a phenomenal job matching the style and detail of the reference.

Here's another character I commissioned for my most recent DnD campaign; this one was meant to be kinda a different take on the dragons, a select few members who left their ancestral home and had to adapt to other regions. This character is meant to be a sort of mercenary, and is likely the type of patrol sergeant the party would encounter in desert trade cities.
I like the make the dragon characters a bit odd, so he'd likely stumble with his words a bit and describe his duty as "my job is to shoot people... erm the right people, but not uh righteous people; I make sure the wrong sort of people get shot, but not by accident or anything. Bah, move along citizen, try not to make any sudden moves by the way."
Anyway, I really liked this character, and the subtle differences present give me some ideas for the animation.
So yeah, as always let me know what you all like, what you don't, and what can be improved.
Thanks, hope you all enjoy.

Yeah, he's definitely a cool artist; very good at commissions, professional, and friendly.
The only trouble is that he's not open for commissions very much and when he is there's a long line of people signing up for them.
Regardless, check out his gallery, lots of good stuff over there.
Also thanks for the feedback! Glad you like the character.

It is in the title, this dragon is called "Dar Zaak".
Normally they have longer names than that, but this one is supposed to be kinda a guard in a frontier area where people wouldn't care for long names.
It was a cool character, it was just a shame I didn't get to use em more.

I did use the character, it was just in DND.
There's a possibility that I might find another role for him in the animation, but for now he was to serve as an NPC in one of my DND campaigns.
Definitely he looks interesting, though if he appeared in the animation he would probably have to be wearing much more modern clothing.
Thanks for the comment!
