So, Akila is a female jackal character of mine who is part of a police force in a dystopic cyberpunk future where the latest cibil rights controversey is the matter of robot/android rights. Akila used to be a sexbot used as a prostitute, but when her pimp was arrested on other charges, she proceeded to go into police work and is doing her best to abandon the old life. In doing so, she became the property of the corporation that owns the police as well. Akila's background has made her less than fond of sex. To the point that she will use other, less efficient means to fulfill the needs that her design has given her just to avoid having sex with anyone (more or less due to fear of further objectification).

Alice, on the other hand, is a fully organic vixen who finds Akila's attempt to transition to be fascinating. She is allowed to repair Akila on account of knowing another corporate employee and being sufficiently independant that she actually knows how to repair a robot model like Akila's. She's also more than a little flirty with the jackaless, which makes Akila more than a little uncomfortable.
